Name: The Reaper’s Glare
Level (Out of ten, include secondary level if level ten spell): 5
Casting time (number of posts): 1
Effect: The caster blasts bolts of black lightning from their eyes that kill whatever they touch. Cells die, plants wither, the ground itself cracks and breaks under its magical force.
Drawback: Inorganic substances can resist this and magical enhancements can make it nigh useless.
Recovery Time (number of posts): N/A
Name: Raise the dead
Level (Out of ten, include secondary level if level ten spell): 3
Casting time (number of posts): Depends on how many corpses are being raised. Any number including ten and below takes a post and another ten takes two posts.
Effect: The caster raises corpses from the grave to serve them unquestioningly.
Drawback: The caster can only raise the corpses as zombies or skeletons with only the physical abilities they had in their former life. The raised dead have no special powers whatsoever.
Recovery Time (number of posts): See casting time.
Name: Undead Giant
Level (Out of ten, include secondary level if level ten spell): 4
Casting time (number of posts): 1
Effect: The necromancer charges a selected corpse with magic to cause them to grow to double their original size. They become twice as strong, durable etc.
Drawback: The corpse is easier to strike and is less accurate.

Level (Out of ten, include secondary level if level ten spell): 4
Casting time (number of posts): Can be cast over a length of time according to a person’s necromantic level.
Effect: By draining their own lifeforce the necromancer can recharge their magical powers.
Drawback: Injures user heavily if drawn upon too much.
Recovery Time (number of posts): See casting time, apply rule to recovery
Name: Curse of Years
Level (Out of ten, include secondary level if level ten spell): 8
Casting time (number of posts): 2, 1 to select area and 1 to cast
Effect: The caster selects an area and all those within the area begin to age rapidly. If they are caught by this they will age physically ten years every second. Even otherwise immortal beings are injured by this.
Drawback: Has to be channelled. No other spell can be cast while this is in effect. Can be dispelled.

Name: Bonecraft
Level (Out of ten, include secondary level if level ten spell): 3/5
Casting time (number of posts): 1
Effect: The caster can mould bone as if it were clay. The 5th level necromancer can mould the bone with their minds from afar, as long as they can see what they are targeting.
Drawback: The bone retains its former fragility unless otherwise magically enhanced.

Name: Dance Macabre
Level (Out of ten, include secondary level if level ten spell): 7
Casting time (number of posts): 2
Effect: The caster can summon bones and pieces of corpses and cause them to whirl around their foe in a deadly whirlwind. Can be combined with other necromantic powers to enhance its power.
Drawback: Is only as powerful as that which makes the attack.

Name: Death’s battalion
Level (Out of ten, include secondary level if level ten spell): 7
Casting time (number of posts): 3
Effect: The caster can raise any number of corpses into unlife. They have the same physical ability they had in life but no special powers and far less skill.
Drawback: Takes time for the necromancer to cast, can be a waste of time if there aren’t sufficient corpses.

Name: Zombie hands

Casting time (number of posts): 1-3
Effect: Zombie like hands spring from the ground and claw at the enemy, draining life (or magic if it’s a non living construct) with each hit.
Drawback: Is useless on airborne foes. Does little damage.

Effect: The caster grabs the victim and casts the spell, reducing them to dust.
Drawback: Destroys only flesh. Immortal beings and some shapeshifters can reform their bodies.

Effect: The subject is enhanced by necromantic magics and becomes as they were in life for two posts.
Drawback: Short lasting.

Casting time (number of posts): 5
Effect: By drinking a potion the necromancer has enchanted they die and are reborn a few days later as a lich.
Drawback: If the necromancer isn’t powerful enough they will simply die. Some may come back as wraiths. So you could either die or come back in a pitiful halflife.
Recovery Time (number of posts): 10 posts+ (other people do these posts)

Level (Out of ten, include secondary level if level ten spell): 8
Casting time (number of posts): 2
Effect: The necromancer can manipulate a corpse into changing it’s form. This can lead to horrific beings that are formed from a large number of creatures sewn together through dark magics.
Drawback: Requires necessary body parts to be used effectively and can result in useless creatures.

Name: Withering Flesh
Level (Out of ten, include secondary level if level ten spell): 4
Casting time (number of posts): 1
Effect: The necromancer fires a small green bolt of magic at their foe. If it strikes them they will be afflicted with a rotting illness that saps their strength, skill and endurance over time.
Drawback: Projectile can be dodged, takes a very long time for some creatures (eg, dragons)
