The more posts you have the higher your abilities can become. This is the basic rule that defines the power of your character(s). The basic progression works as follows:
0 posts= You can learn the first level of any combat form.
100 posts=You can learn the second level of any combat form.
200 posts=You can learn the third level of any combat form.
300 posts=You can learn the fourth level of any combat form.
400 posts=You can learn the fifth level of any combat form.
500 posts=You can learn the sixth level of any combat form.
600 posts=You can learn the seventh level of any combat form.
700 posts=You can learn the eighth level of any combat form.
800 posts=You can learn the ninth level of any combat form.
900 posts=You can learn the alpha tenth level of any combat form.
1,000 posts=You can learn the beta tenth level of any combat form.
1,100 posts=You can learn the gamma tenth level of any combat form.
1,200 posts=You can learn the delta tenth level of any combat form.
1,300 posts=You can learn the zeta tenth level of any combat form.
1,400 posts=You can learn the sigma tenth level of any combat form.
1,500 posts=You can learn the omega tenth level of any combat form.
A combat form would be magic, techniques, spells and so on and so forth. The greek letters correspond to the level of power within a tenth spell too, so the omega tenth level combat abilities would be more powerful than an alpha level. It may seem daunting at first to see that you need 1,500 posts to get to the top level of power (which isn't really the top, after this there are higher levels of power that aren't well defined at this time as they reach far beyond even angels, demons and dragons highest powers) there are methods to gain posts and powers quicker.
High quality posts in certain areas (that will not be named to encourage people to post well in all areas) will be rewarded with extra posts. These may be twenty, fifty, or even one hundred but overall they will increase the speed of your characters growth greatly. Also, there will be various testing areas that, if the test is passed, will lead to large increases in post count and in power too. However, just because you have said huge post count doesn't mean you will automatically get these powers as many will involve you being taught them and this must occur in either storyline effecting threads or training ones. In other words, you must rp out your characters growth rather than spontaneously generate new powers.
